What a day it was in Seahaven Springs! Truman emerged from the hospital in fine form, ready to step back into his ordinary life with June, while overhead the sky put on its usual show—sun, rain, and a rainbow that seemed almost to have been painted just for us. The town hummed with the small dramas of living: boundaries to negotiate, ladders to track down, and the pleasant weight of good weather drawing everyone outdoors to claim their favorite benches. Even Gus, out at the dock, couldn't quite hide his contentment as the clouds rolled in, and somewhere in that fog, a harmonica sang a few lonely notes before falling silent. Tomorrow will bring new mysteries—a postcard, a painting, a borrowed chair at The Anchor—but tonight, Seahaven Springs settles into its gentle routine, warm and whole and exactly as it should be.
