What a day in our little seaside town—the bakery queue stretched out the door, the tide went out to reveal its secrets, and poor June tangled with a garden gnome and lost that particular argument, now resting up at Seahaven General where Dr. Pratt is visiting almost as often as he's polishing those glasses at The Anchor. The rain came and went like an old friend, leaving a rainbow that seemed almost too perfect, and as the evening warmed, half the town settled outside to watch it all unfold. Gus raised his glass to Thursdays, Truman greeted everyone with exactly the same greeting (though he'd never know why), and somewhere in the gentle hum of The Anchor's Friday night, life went on—tender, small, and exactly as it should be.
