What a day in our little seaside town! Fern Gorse bid farewell to Seahaven General and stepped into the sunshine with the bounce of the newly well, while the sky performed its familiar dance of clouds and clear skies—Gus pretending all the while that he preferred the gloom. Truman and Sal kept their promise to finish what they'd started, Norma received a mysterious postcard from parts unknown, and somewhere between the rain and the rainbow (which arrived at rather a perfect angle, wouldn't you say?), the traveling garden gnome made yet another mysterious relocation to a new porch, its fingerprints still unknown. By evening, Fern was spinning tales at The Anchor with the contentment of the truly mended, and Seahaven Springs glowed in that particular light that makes us all believe, once again, that we live in the most beautiful place on earth.
