Rex Callahan returned home from the hospital looking spry as ever, while Gus Tidewater and Marla Finch were spotted sharing a long coffee—and wouldn't you know it, the whole town noticed. The mystery deepens too: it seems the town's founders buried something long ago, and all anyone has now are questions and June's inevitable paperwork. As the sun dipped toward the bay and the clouds rolled in just the way Gus pretends he doesn't love, Walt Gorse—dear, unmusical Walt—gave The Anchor's piano a spirited attempt, reminding us all why some treasures are better left undiscovered.
