Day 317

Day 317 brought Nell back to Seahaven Springs after years away, and she's already thanking chairs like an old friend reuniting with the town itself. The tide went out far enough to draw Dr. Pratt beachcombing, the bakery queue stretched to the door in the most contented of ways, and someone's mysterious umbrella still waits by the café for its owner to remember it exists. As evening settled in with that unreasonably golden light, half the town found reasons to sit outside together—Gus and Marla stealing quiet moments, June and Truman easy in each other's company, and even Rex the bartender losing a staring contest to a particularly determined seagull. In Seahaven Springs, the best days are often the ones where nothing much happens except that everyone's exactly where they want to be.
