Day 326

What a day in Seahaven Springs! The weather played its part perfectly—rain, rainbows, sunshine, all timed like a conductor's baton—while below, the small currents of life kept moving. Gus admired his clouds, the clocks argued their two-minute difference, and that traveling gnome visited yet another porch, still refusing to confess who moves it. But the real heart of the day was Flo Tidewater, tucked safely into Seahaven General under Dr. Pratt's watch, Dr. Pratt himself stepping softly between his alphabet-ordered duties and Dot's knowing glances. A kite stuck in a tree has already summoned a committee. Tomorrow, someone will have to fetch it.
