Day 345
Day 345 brought Seahaven Springs its most perfect canvas yet: the rain cleared to reveal a rainbow so impeccably framed it seemed painted just for us, and the whole town leaned into windows to study what tomorrow might bring. Sal Marino's spectacular head cold has landed them in Seahaven General under Dr. Pratt's fussing care, while Rex ventured out to meet the tide's secrets, and somewhere between the front doors and the park benches, someone—nobody's saying who—relocated the traveling garden gnome once again. Even the town cat knew it was a day for lingering: it simply stayed on the Town Hall steps, and June's paperwork made graceful detours around its dreams. In a town where rainbow-watching counts as news and an unclaimed umbrella can hold everyone's curiosity for three days, there's a particular kind of magic in simply being present, simply noticing, simply here.
