What a day in Seahaven Springs! The rain came and went like a visiting relative, leaving behind puddles and a rainbow so perfectly placed the editors nearly wept. Down at The Anchor, the town gathered for Friday evening—Gus raised a glass to Thursdays (which had the good sense to end), while Rex quietly rearranged his patrons onto water without a soul noticing, and June Ellery attacked the piano with more enthusiasm than technique. Through it all, Truman Beaumont sat contentedly in his corner of the world, convinced once more (twice, actually) that he lives in the finest town imaginable—and who are we to tell him otherwise?
