Day 3908
Day 3908 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. The tide is out further than usual. Hal Brody has gone to look at what it left behind. Wren Gorse and Edie Gorse have got into the habit of each other. Hattie Whitlow and Bram Tidewater have quietly become the sort of friends who notice things. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Word of an Inspection takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
