Day 3909
Day 3909 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. Ned Ferris has kept at learning the orchard properly long enough that the town expects it now. Wilf Tanner and Perry Gorse have stopped leaving their friendship to chance. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Word of an Inspection reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
