Day 3910
Day 3910 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Marla Finch is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. The town ladder is on its fourth borrower this week and nobody is sure who owns it. Hal Brody and Bev Tanner have stopped leaving their friendship to chance. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
