What a day it was in Seahaven Springs—rain arrived like an old friend, bringing umbrellas and a heron who refused to budge from Miller's Pond, and somehow everything that needed doing got done. Poor Bev found herself on the receiving end of an overzealous seagull and is now resting comfortably at Seahaven General, where Dot and Dr. Pratt will be sure she's well looked after. As the clouds parted and a rainbow arced across the evening sky in the most generous angle, the town settled into the kind of peace that comes after a day of small victories—a form filed perfectly, a mystery solved, and even a whisper of harmonica music drifting from the dock, though a certain dock worker would never admit to it.
