Day 3948
Day 3948 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. The queue at the bakery has reached the door. Nobody minds; it is that kind of queue. Truman Beaumont reads it aloud. It concerns something the town no longer has. Nothing whatsoever is happening in Seahaven Springs. Linus Tidewater appears to be enjoying it. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Motion Still Pending takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
