Day 3949
Day 3949 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. There is one more chair at The Anchor than there was yesterday. Rex has not mentioned it. The tide is out further than usual. Mabel Tidewater has gone to look at what it left behind. Hattie Whitlow has hosted the thing they kept meaning to host. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Motion Still Pending reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
