Day 3975
Day 3975 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Edie Gorse has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. Hal Brody is not currently speaking to Milo Ferris. Milo Ferris is cooling off in the Sheriff's holding cell after the business at The Anchor. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
00:00Edie Gorse has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain.
06:57Whatever Kip Doyle and Dot Ferris were circling, they have landed on it.
09:00An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days.
10:00Saturday orchard morning is under way. Opinions about ladders are plentiful.
10:49Milo Ferris has got good enough at practising stories worth telling to be quietly smug about it.
11:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
12:24The harmonica is found — it was borrowed, not stolen. All is forgiven over coffee.
12:24Lark Ferris and Bev Tanner kept their word and finished what they started.
12:24And so concludes: The Case of the Missing Harmonica. The town will live with how it ended.
13:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
13:27There were not enough plates at Bea Callahan's, and nobody minded.
15:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
16:00A seagull has stolen Abel Callahan's sandwich near the dock. Again.
17:15Wren Gorse and Mabel Tidewater kept their word and finished what they started.
18:00Mabel Tidewater has arrived at the store without the list. This has happened before.
19:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
19:15Jonah Ferris and Dot Ferris have got into the habit of each other.
20:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
21:41Hal Brody has begun issuing compliments in alphabetical order.
21:58Milo Ferris is teaching the room a song that appears to have no chorus.
22:00Faint harmonica music was heard from the dock. Everybody denies everything.
22:23Alma Callahan has reached the storytelling stage at The Anchor.
23:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
23:00Commotion at The Anchor! Hal Brody and Milo Ferris came to (very gentle) blows over a disputed game of dominoes.
23:00Sheriff Brody has invited Milo Ferris to spend the night in the cells. Everyone agrees this is for the best.
