Day 3976
Day 3976 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. The mackerel are running off Seahaven Point. The dock has acquired a row of buckets and an atmosphere of quiet competition. The puddle outside the Sunrise Café has returned to its usual dimensions. Hal Brody is not currently speaking to Milo Ferris. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Talent Night at The Anchor begins. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
