Day 4007
Day 4007 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days. A heron has taken up position at Miller's Pond and is refusing to be hurried. Dot Ferris is not brilliant at keeping a notebook about the pond, and is no longer pretending to be. It stuck anyway. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Clock Is Two Minutes Fast takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
