Day 4194
Day 4194 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. Iris Brody and Marla Finch have got into the habit of each other. Bram Tidewater's small gathering has come together, with just enough chairs and no speeches. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Surprise for Opal Ferris runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
