Day 4217
Day 4217 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Opal Ferris has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. A heron has taken up position at Miller's Pond and is refusing to be hurried. Whatever Alma Callahan and Bram Tidewater were circling, they have landed on it. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Shortcut takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
