Day 4219
Day 4219 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Ned Ferris is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. Kip Doyle and Dot Ferris have got into the habit of each other. Hal Brody has turned sketching the shoreline into a real part of life. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
