What a day in Seahaven Springs! The rain brought the whole town indoors to the Sunrise Café, where the puddle outside settled back into its familiar shape, and mysteries solved themselves like clockwork—Norma finally producing the missing ending to the book nobody finished, just as Dot quietly closed the chapter on another small Seahaven puzzle. Through it all, Sal held court from his hospital bed with nothing but a spoon, presiding over the town's first book club meeting in the ward, while a kite caught in the big park tree sparked a committee into being (as these things do). And when the rain cleared to reveal a rainbow so perfectly cinematic it seemed almost choreographed, even Gus admitted—twice!—that this was the finest town in the world, though he pretended not to notice the fresh clouds drifting back in over the bay.
