What a day in Seahaven Springs—rain gave way to a rainbow so perfectly framed it seemed the sky itself was showing off, and the whole town bustled with the gentle chaos of a Friday evening: bakery queues that nobody minded, a mysterious front door freshly painted, and Dot Ferris engaged in an earnest staring contest with a seagull she was determined to outwit. Truman wandered to the store without his list (as he does), explored what the receding tide had left behind, and by evening found himself at The Anchor where Rex was polishing glasses and the weekend was beginning to unfold, warm and inevitable as the tides themselves. In Seahaven Springs, nothing much happens—but tonight, like every night, it happened just right.
