Day 4854
Day 4854 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Dot Ferris has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. The queue at the bakery has reached the door. Nobody minds; it is that kind of queue. Silas Tidewater was born to Bram Tidewater and Hattie Whitlow. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. What Our Song Actually Is runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.

00:00Dot Ferris has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain.
05:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
07:00The queue at the bakery has reached the door. Nobody minds; it is that kind of queue.
09:00Elaine Whitlow has received a postcard from somewhere far away. The handwriting is unfamiliar.
09:00For four seconds Truman Beaumont's radio carried a voice describing exactly where Truman Beaumont was standing.
09:00A lighthouse postcard has been added to today's mail. Truman Beaumont collects them, and Control knows it.
11:00The photocopier at Seahaven Mutual is making the noise again. Ike Tidewater has been elected to deal with it.
12:00It is Wednesday lunch in Founders Park. Benches are being claimed diplomatically.
12:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
12:00Wilf Tanner noticed the greetings had gone identical and improvised badly but successfully.
12:39Somebody hums something at The Anchor and half the room joins in with other words.
13:00The tide is out further than usual. Gil Ferris has gone to look at what it left behind.
13:00A face Truman Beaumont last saw years ago walked by wearing a different coat and a different life.
14:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
14:45Abel Callahan and Lark Ferris no longer need a reason to call round.
15:00The puddle outside the Sunrise Café has returned to its usual dimensions.
16:00The rain has driven everyone indoors, and the café is doing the best trade of the week.
17:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.

19:00The light over Seahaven Springs this evening is almost unreasonably good.
19:42Cole Whitlow and Edie Gorse kept their word and finished what they started.
22:00The traveling garden gnome has been spotted on a new porch. Nobody admits to moving it.
