Day 4855
Day 4855 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Word has gone round the kitchens: Truman Beaumont is to be given his favourite, and no bill. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. Silas Tidewater was born to Bram Tidewater and Hattie Whitlow. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. What Our Song Actually Is takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
