Day 4863
Day 4863 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Linus Tidewater is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. The radio in Truman Beaumont's kitchen has been persuaded to play his favourite song. He is singing along, badly. Silas Tidewater was born to Bram Tidewater and Hattie Whitlow. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Gull Grey Question takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
