Day 4973
Day 4973 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Elaine Whitlow has received a postcard from somewhere far away. The handwriting is unfamiliar. Alma Callahan and Marla Finch have got into the habit of each other. Cole Whitlow has got to the bottom of it. The bottom was not far down. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Key, and No Lock runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
