Day 4981
Day 4981 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days. The queue at the bakery has reached the door. Nobody minds; it is that kind of queue. Cole Whitlow and Mabel Tidewater have stopped leaving their friendship to chance. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
