Day 513 brought the first real mysteries of spring to Seahaven Springs: postcards arrived from nowhere, the festival bunting pulled its own vanishing act, and Dot Ferris found herself on the other side of the hospital bed with a rash that had Dr. Pratt positively delighted. Meanwhile, the tide went out like it had somewhere important to be, the orchard dressed itself in blossoms and bees, and the light over the bay turned almost suspiciously beautiful—the kind of evening that makes you wonder if the whole town collectively paused to notice. Tomorrow will bring answers, or it won't; either way, Seahaven Springs will be exactly where it's always been, warm and waiting.

18:00An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days.
19:00The light over Seahaven Springs this evening is almost unreasonably good.

21:00Clouds drift in over the bay. Gus pretends not to enjoy it.
