Day 5279
Day 5279 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Wren Gorse has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. The town cat is asleep on the Town Hall steps. Municipal business reroutes around it. For four seconds Truman Beaumont's radio carried a voice describing exactly where Truman Beaumont was standing. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
