Day 5318
Day 5318 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Word has gone round the kitchens: Truman Beaumont is to be given his favourite, and no bill. Dot Ferris is not brilliant at practising stories worth telling, and is no longer pretending to be. It stuck anyway. Cass Tanner and Bev Tanner have stopped leaving their friendship to chance. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Clock Is Two Minutes Fast takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
