Day 5367
Day 5367 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Edie Gorse has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. Alma Callahan is not currently speaking to Cass Tanner. Cass Tanner is cooling off in the Sheriff's holding cell after the business at The Anchor. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Surprise for Truman Beaumont reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
00:00Edie Gorse has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake.
00:00[CONTROL] She has settled. The file on her has been closed, and she will never know there was one.
07:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
07:22Cole Whitlow has got good enough at sketching the shoreline to be quietly smug about it.
09:25Ned Ferris and Kip Doyle have stopped leaving their friendship to chance.
12:45Truman Beaumont pretends not to have noticed the whispering, which is generous of them.
15:00The town cat is asleep on the Town Hall steps. Municipal business reroutes around it.
15:04Truman Beaumont and Rex Callahan kept their word and finished what they started.
16:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
17:00The rain has driven everyone indoors, and the café is doing the best trade of the week.
18:00Friday evening has begun at The Anchor. Rex is polishing the good glasses.
18:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
19:00The light over Seahaven Springs this evening is almost unreasonably good.
19:07Edie Gorse and Silas Tidewater have cleared the air over a quiet chat.
19:07Silas Tidewater and Edie Gorse have cleared the air over a quiet chat.
19:52Bea Callahan has ordered one for the road and then forgotten which road.
20:00Someone is practising the same eight bars of piano again. The town has grown fond of them.
20:05Fern Gorse has ordered one for the road and then forgotten which road.
20:28Ned Ferris has begun issuing compliments in alphabetical order.
21:00Faint harmonica music was heard from the dock. Everybody denies everything.
21:39The Anchor's piano is being played by Rex Callahan, who cannot play piano.
22:00Commotion at The Anchor! Alma Callahan and Cass Tanner came to (very gentle) blows over a heated debate over the last pickled egg.
22:00Sheriff Brody has invited Cass Tanner to spend the night in the cells. Everyone agrees this is for the best.
22:14Iris Brody offered to buy the room a drink, then checked a pocket.
22:18Edie Gorse has proposed a toast to the concept of Thursdays.
