Day 5498
Day 5498 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. It is too hot in Seahaven Springs. The tarmac on Front Street has gone soft and the Sunrise Café has put its chairs in the shade. learning the orchard properly has stopped being something Nell Tidewater is trying, and become something they do. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
