Day 5657
Day 5657 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. The tide is out further than usual. Hal Brody has gone to look at what it left behind. Ned Ferris has finally had everyone round. Nobody left early. Perry Gorse and Truman Beaumont have quietly become the sort of friends who notice things. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
