Day 5814
Day 5814 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Fern Gorse has come down with a headache that has outstayed its welcome and is being kept in for observation. The Bakery's flour delivery has not arrived. Kip is rationing, with the grim dignity of a man rationing something he baked himself. Whatever Dot Ferris and Kip Doyle were circling, they have landed on it. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Visitor Is Expected takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
