Day 5984
Day 5984 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. A lighthouse postcard has been added to today's mail. Truman Beaumont collects them, and Control knows it. She has been moved across town. The reasons given were excellent and none of them were the reason. Dot Ferris is not currently speaking to Elaine Whitlow. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Clock Is Two Minutes Fast takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
