Day 5985
Day 5985 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Elaine Whitlow has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. Kip Doyle and Dot Ferris have got into the habit of each other. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Clock Is Two Minutes Fast reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
