Day 731

What a day it was in Seahaven Springs! The town flickered like a candle flame at midday, then treated itself to a proper spring rain followed by a rainbow so perfect it looked airbrushed — the kind of light that made everyone want to be outside at once. Sheriff Brody's room at the General has become the social hub of the week, visitors coming and going with casseroles and well-wishes, though he'd probably prefer to be down at the dock investigating what the unusually low tide left behind. By evening, half the town was settled on benches and stoops, warm and content, and even that unclaimed umbrella by the café seemed to be waiting for something — or someone — to come collect it.
