Day 733

What a day it was in Seahaven Springs! Sheriff Hal came home from Seahaven General in fine spirits, just in time to watch the rain roll in and out again—leaving behind the sort of rainbow that makes you believe in second chances. Down at The Anchor, Rex was in generous spirits (though his pockets told a different story), and somehow Marla found herself at the piano, playing as if the instrument had never met her fingers before. The mysterious garden gnome continues its travels around town, and somewhere between the umbrellas and the laughter, new friendships bloomed the way they do in Seahaven Springs—quick, warm, and seemingly inevitable. Tomorrow the town will wake to who-knows-what, but tonight everyone went to bed with the kind of contentment that comes from a Friday well-lived.
