Meanwhile, mysterious postcards arrived for both Elaine and Rex, setting off a delightful chain of speculation at the Sunrise Café, where Lark has begun keeping an official suspect list. And somewhere between the kite tangled in the park tree, the sudden afternoon rain that had everyone reaching for umbrellas in perfect unison, and a certain front door that's been freshly painted overnight, the town has found itself in that peculiar state where everyone is talking about everything at once. Tomorrow the theories will multiply, the committee about that kite will grow, and Truman will arrive at his desk at Seahaven Mutual to find Bev has already processed three new claims—and none of them about weather.
