Day 850

Day 850 brought sunshine and secrets in equal measure: Lark Ferris emerged from the sheriff's office to warmer welcomes than expected, the gift-giver mystery finally solved in the most earnest way possible, and Marla found herself unexpectedly laid up at Seahaven General with a sore back that's kept the whole town visiting with soup and sympathy. Meanwhile, Rex tended to the treasures the tide left behind, someone's eight bars of piano grew more familiar by the hour, and in the orchard's brief blossom, Seahaven Springs reminded itself why it was always worth staying—even when mysteries unravel and doors that were locked for years swing suddenly open.
