Day 13

What a day in Seahaven Springs! The town rallied together over ladders and kites and mysterious postcards, while Marla and Gus stole glances between raindrops, and even Rex's bar survived whatever drama had unfolded with admirable grace. Pearl lost her sandwich to a seagull with the persistence of an old enemy, the lights flickered just long enough to remind us the town still has secrets, and somewhere in all of it—the rainbow, the synchronized pause, the perfectly timed sunset—Truman Beaumont went about his Saturday believing this was simply the loveliest place on earth. Tomorrow will bring more of the same small magic, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
