Day 14
What a day in Seahaven Springs! The rain came and went with almost theatrical timing, framing a rainbow so perfect the town paused to admire it—and somewhere in that weather, Truman finally shared his news with someone who'd already heard it through the grapevine, a sweet collision of good intentions and small-town timing. Down at the dock, Gus Tidewater swore up and down he had nothing to do with that harmonica music drifting through the salty air, even as his heart seemed lighter than the clouds overhead. Poor Sheriff Hal came down with the most spectacular head cold, and Dr. Pratt insisted on keeping him at Seahaven General for observation—which means the town's warmest lawman will spend his evening being fussed over by Nurse Ferris and visited by half the residents bearing soup. As evening fell and umbrellas deployed once more, the town drifted toward The Salty Gull for Sunday supper, and somewhere out there, that traveling garden gnome settled onto yet another new porch, its mysterious journey continuing with nobody the wiser.

Rain's coming down proper now. Good day for staying in.★
Pearl! Mind if I grab the seat? Got some news that just about knocked me over.★
I hope I'm not interrupting. I walked over and just... kept walking, you know?
Gus! Sit down before the lunch crowd hits. Coffee?
Dot said you were here. Brought you something.
She's listing starboard again. I swear she was level when I packed the sand.★
Pearl. I was hoping to find you here. Dot mentioned you might stop by.
Heard you got yourself stuck in here, friend. Thought I'd bring the outside in.
