What a day of small mysteries in Seahaven Springs! Hal set out to investigate the tide's generous offerings while a traveling garden gnome appeared on yet another unsuspecting porch, and our dear Truman came home early enough to ponder the heron's business at Miller's Pond. The clocks at Town Hall and the bakery have begun their familiar disagreement, the rain fell in perfect rhythm with a hundred synchronized umbrellas, and somewhere in all of it, young Fern Gorse decided she knew rather a lot about lighthouses. As evening settles soft and damp over our little town, Truman is home, the cat is sleeping where it pleases, and tomorrow's mysteries are already waiting to be gently solved.
