What a day in Seahaven Springs! The rain cleared to reveal a rainbow so perfectly framed it seemed almost staged—though of course, nothing in this gentle town is ever staged. A kite got stuck in the big park tree, productivity evaporated under the spell of Kip's fresh bread, and the town ladder made yet another mysterious journey to an unknown borrower. Dr. Pratt showed up at the store without his list (again), Flo Tidewater checked into Seahaven General with the sniffles under Dot's watchful care, and somewhere in the ordinary magic of Wednesday, Truman received another postcard of a lighthouse to add to his growing collection. Tomorrow will bring new small mysteries and the gentle rhythms of a town where nothing bad ever happens—but something is always, always going on.

18:00Bev Tanner is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning.
18:00Flo Tidewater has come down with a case of the Seahaven sniffles. Dr. Pratt is keeping them in for observation.
20:00Every car, gull and passer-by around Truman Beaumont paused at once, as though waiting for a cue.
20:00A lighthouse postcard has been added to today's mail. Truman Beaumont collects them, and Control knows it.
22:00The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered.
