Day 1633

What a day it's been in Seahaven Springs—Truman wrestled with paperwork and a temperamental photocopier while the weather put on a show all its own, painting rainbows across the bay not once but twice. Around town, small kindnesses rippled through: Bev's gathering went splendidly, a jar of plum jam settled an old dispute, and even a trimmed hedge brought neighbors closer rather than driving them apart. As fog rolled in and the sun broke through on cue, life continued its gentle, wonderfully ordinary way—with new little Wilf Tanner sleeping soundly at home, and everyone else exactly where they belonged.
