Day 1691
What a day it's been in Seahaven Springs—the kind of day where the sun knows exactly when to peek through the clouds, and the tide retreats to show us its secrets. Young Lark Ferris is home from the hospital and right as rain, while new friendships are quietly taking root: Hattie and Bram have decided their bond deserves more than chance, and Iris and Marla have discovered the particular warmth of noticing each other. Down at the dock, someone played a harmonica nobody admits to hearing, and in the orchard the bees hummed their eternal song undisturbed. Nothing catastrophic happened—nothing ever does—but everything, somehow, felt exactly as it should.
