Day 18
What a day in Seahaven Springs! Norma's back gave out spectacularly, landing her in Seahaven General under Dr. Pratt's watchful eye, which means the store will run on pure muscle memory tomorrow. Meanwhile, our Gus pretended those clouds rolling in over the bay weren't the highlight of his evening—though a little harmonica music drifting from the dock suggested otherwise. Truman, bless him, made good on a pastry debt to Bev, who called him by the wrong name for just a beat too long before laughing it off. And as if on cue, the whole town deployed umbrellas in perfect synchronization when the rain came, then watched a rainbow paint itself across the sky at exactly the right angle. Even the lights flickered their little hello, and Hal lost another sandwich to a very persistent seagull. Just another perfect evening in our perfect little town.
