What a curious Friday it's been in Seahaven Springs—Truman chased whispers across town while the bakery's aroma conducted its usual mutiny on productivity, and somewhere in the evening rain, that wandering garden gnome completed another mysterious journey to parts unknown. The Anchor glowed warm with the promise of the weekend, Rex polishing glasses like a man expecting something special, while down at the dock, Gus maintained his steadfast denial of any harmonica involvement. By nightfall, umbrellas bloomed across the town in perfect synchrony, and our earnest insurance salesman turned in, none the wiser that Seahaven Springs had spent the whole day conspiring toward something rather wonderful.
