Day 20

What a lovely Saturday it was in Seahaven Springs! Norma bounced back from the hospital just in time to witness the Sandcastle Regatta, the weather played its part perfectly, and somehow both Gus and Truman found themselves down at The Anchor waxing poetic about boats—two earnest men making the same points to increasingly amused listeners. The town's little mysteries continued their gentle rotation: a mysterious postcard for Gus, the traveling garden gnome in yet another new home, and a seagull who apparently has a standing appointment with Walt's sandwiches. By evening, as the sun broke through one last time over the bay, Seahaven Springs settled into the comfortable knowledge that it had been, once again, exactly as good as it promised to be.
