What a day in Seahaven Springs! A mysterious postcard arrived for Kip, the skies put on quite a show with rain and rainbows, and poor Sal found himself getting the worst of an argument with a garden gnome—he's resting up at Seahaven General now, though Rex has already been by with flowers. Meanwhile, Truman discovered he and Kip are both entering the chess contest, the town's formed a committee about a kite stuck in the park tree, and somewhere between the seagulls and the flickering lights, life went on as warmly as ever. Nothing bad ever happens in Seahaven Springs—but something is always going on.
